Landauer Cafe is a gourmet cafe & bakery specializing in classic German-style baked goods and chocolates, including linzer tarts, spritz, crescents, wafers, sugar cookies and a large variety of hand crafted truffles.

All of our products are baked on site from-scratch in small batches, using only the highest quality ingredients available.

We are committed to providing our customers with confections that not only look beautiful, but truly taste exceptional as well.

We also offer sweet & savory crepes and waffles, fresh fruit smoothies, fresh squeezed lemonade, coffees and teas, organic granola and yogurt parfaits.

Our gift baskets and party favors are exquisite and we welcome corporate and wedding orders.

Our Story

It has been over 20 years since I moved to the Towaco Valley of Montville Township in New Jersey and started Landauer Cafe. My dream was to live, work and raise my daughter in a family-oriented, rural environment and I found the right place here, across the street from the Towaco Train Station.

Over the years, baking cookies and making chocolates has grown into a small enterprise of producing a deliciously unique line of gourmet foods and gifts.

My secret ingredients, the most important ones for any of my desserts, are the people who share it with me. While food is certainly the way in which we celebrate anything that matters, it merely helps us to mark the connections between us. So, create a connection right now. One in which friends, loved ones and laughter – and plenty of good food – become the reason to celebrate.
